QUESTION 1: What do you think about a particular character's actions? Was he/she right or wrong to do that?

RESPONSE 1:When Gerald stood up to Jordan the stepfather of him and his sister . I think that that was very brave because that he is standing up for someone who he loves to protect her from the stepfather who hits and beats both of them. One day he saw Jordan beating his sister and he stood up for her by standing between her and jordan and let him take the beating instead of his sister Angel. I think that he was very right by doing this because he did what he believed in witch was standing up for the one that he loves.


QUESTION 2:What other character(s) beside the main character is really important to the story? How and why?

RESPONSE 2:Besides Gerald i believe that his aunt aunt queen is a very important character because she was the one who made gerald the person that he is now at 17 years old .If she did not how up after the fire and if she had not taken him in he would not be protecting his step sister from his stepfather who beats and bothers the both of them. when she died i think that really effected why he is such a nice person , because he has had something that means so much to him (Aunt Queen) taken away from him.
